Abstract
Managing business performance is actually a set of integrated analytical processes which using technology is directed towards financial and operational activities in a company. The creation and management of business development performance is not a simple onetime process. The emergence of new technologies and changes in company objectives that
go along with contemporary economic trends have a huge impact in the management of companies. Managing business performance influences the process of reducing costs,
increasing revenues and strengthening the competitive advantages of companies. This can be implemented using the technologies of business intelligence. Along with setting the basics of business performance management, it is necessary to precisely define the key performance
indicators. Balanced scorecard in turn provide a framework for organizing strategic objectives in four different fields, namely financial, customer, internal business
processes and development. This paper is the beginning and giving directions to the ways of implementation of business performance management in software tools, where using the
balanced scorecard will overcome difficulties with the management of data related to indicators of performance that the company collected from different sources.
