Abstract
Psychological harassment in the workplace or simply called "mobbing"
is not a new phenomenon. Exist in all organizations, both in primitive and in
modern organizations. Mobbing since there is no human race and the
individual desire for power, the need to humiliate others, since there are envy,
jealousy, hatred.
Already in 1976 the American psychiatrist Carroll Brodsky recognized
several cases of psychological harassment in the workplace, kategorizirajkji
them as occupational diseases and reported in California Worker's
Compensation Appeals Board and the Nevada Industrial Comission (Brodsky,
C, 1976).
However, mobbing attract the attention of scientists after twenty years.
Today mobbing is more modern "appearance of the new millennium", which
can either be a challenge and "life" experience that will help us go forward, or
danger that may be beyond our control and become a serious threat to our
physical and mental health.
Key words: general comprehensiveness of mobbing, mobbing in the
member-states of the European Union, the Balkans mobbing, mobbing in
Republic of Macedonia, legislation to protect and bodies responsible for
mobbing, analysis of results and critical review.
