In order to achieve the goals of this paper, we analyzed the data on recorded hyper tensive cases from the medical diaries for medical records in the Emergency Service - Delcevo and we compared them to guide - lines for hypertensive emergencies, the reports of the Joint National Committee on prevention, detection, evaluation and treatment o f hypertension, guidelines for treatment of hypertension from evidence - based medicine, given by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Macedonia and more other European and world guides. The obtained results show the application of somehow different tre atment from the usual recommended treatment for the treatment of hypertension, but it is a therapy that gives the desired effects, has not shown serious side effects and is applied as such, for many years now.
