Macedonian Foreign Policy: From Disintegration to Integration
This book provides a theoretical overview and understanding of the modern Macedonian political events through its history, as well as a comprehensive analysis of the events in the period of the early 1990s that led to the creation of an independent Republic of Macedonia. The analysis will also determine the role of the Macedonian political elite in the creation of an independent Republic. A special segment of this book will focus on foreign policy and diplomacy, which is significant in all the events that took place in relation to the young republic. This book is conceptualized in a way that it can be used as additional material for the international law and political studies courses at universities, as well as for researchers and practitioners in the field of international politics, especially those interested in Balkan politics.
Dr. Dejan Marolov is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, “Goce Delcev” University in Stip in the scientific field of international public law. He has published many scientific papers in international journals as well as several books. He is also a reviewer in many international journals as well as a member of numerous Scientific and Organizational Committees of International Conferences and Forums.
Dr. Aneta Stojanovska-Stefanova is Assistant Professor in the field of political systems and international relations and history of diplomacy at “Goce Delcev” University in Stip, where she is also head of unit at Faculty of Tourism and Business Logistics. In the field of scientific research, she is affirmed through the participation and presentations of professional papers at conferences, seminars, scientific projects and open forums in the country and abroad. At the same time, she is the co-author of four books and numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed domestic and international publications.
