Abstract

Anemia is a disease that occurs when the number of elitrocitite ( red blood cells ) is reduced. Anemia may occur at any time of life , but women usually occurs during pregnancy . The most common causes of anemia in pregnancy is reducing the level of hemoglobin in the blood ( < 110 g / l ) and iron deficiency in the blood .
For the preparation of this paper is applied descriptive method of collecting and processing data.The main objectives of this paper are:
1.Comparison of pregnant women treated in hospital clinical department of obstetrics and genikologija in Stip in 2011 and 2012 ;
Second Comparison of pregnant women treated in 2011 and 2012 according to nationality ;
3rd Comparison of results for informing people about anemia in 2011 .
According to the obtained results it can be seen that in 2012 has doubled the number of pregnant women treated at the Clinic Hospital in Stip unlike in 2011 godina.Spored nationality largest percentage Roma , then the Macedonians , and most of them are Turkish .
Only 28.5 % of the population and one third of the population is not informed of the reasons for that may occur anemia .Anemia is a serious problem during pregnancy because it can lead to complications . Consequences of complications can threaten the health and life of the mother and the child . It is therefore necessary education of women , constant checks throughout pregnancy , prevention and treatment in the diagnosis of anemia during pregnancy .To prevent anemia during pregnancy is potredno and brings diverse foods rich in iron , folic acid and vitamins , and if necessary should be used and appropriate supplements .
