Abstract

In this paper we examine economic and political trilemma in the process of integration of national economies, and whether choices are or are not feasible. European Union is taken as an example for monetary union and much of the analysis is directed towards processes that occurred in EU from the beginning onwards. In this paper it is also worked the topic about government size, constraints on national autonomy in the globalization.
