Abstract

In this paper an original monitoring system for research of the physical phenomena in the cutting process with a computer aided data acquisition is presented. Monitoring system is used for measuring of the tangential. axial and radial cutting force, and the average temperature in the cutting process. The acquisition hardware consists of 5-channel amplifier and a data acquisition card. For acquisition of the sygnals, a microcontroller with an integrated 10bit A/D converter is used.
