Abstract

Sih new pepper varieties (L-1, L-5, DP-3/1, DP-3/20, KS-11 and KR-6) were comparatively tested with three generally used genotypes in production of Republic of Macedonia (Shorokshari, Calvil White and Kurtovska Kapija).
The new pepper variety had a thicker pericarp and grether fruit mass than the control varieties. The new pepper variety DP-3/20 had the shortest vegetation period (121 days).
The other new varieties were either earlier or on the level of the control varieties.
