Abstract

Bois noir (BN) is the main phytoplasma disease of grapevine in the Republic of Macedonia. Presence of stolbur phytoplasma start investigated since 2001 (Seruga et al. 2003). Since then, Bois noir is under scrutiny in all grapevines growing region in Macedonia. Typical BN symptoms appear on the grapevine leaves, shoots and clusters, with different extents seen according to
cultivar.
