Abstract

The mining industry has always supported the reduction of emergency and
crisis situations. Over the years constantly develop and apply strategies and
measures designed to prevent, control, reduce or eliminate hazards and risks at
work to keep pace with technological and economic change. To effectively
achieve this goal it is necessary to raising awareness of risks, training of all
employees of working with specific equipment, and dealing in a given crisis and
emergencies situations. The most effective training methods and training of
employees in this sector has shown the method of computer simulation and
visualization of given problems to better understand them by employees.
Visual representation serves to facilitate the very idea of a given problem
or activity that easier and more accessible recipient will receive a perception of
what is presented. Transforming visual imaginary and symbolic representations
in geometric and graphic representations in the form of an image or animation,
allowing users to view their new sketches and calculations.
Software simulation can be developed in mining industry to improve the
chances of defense and rescue in given situation. The computer simulation that
develops from previously developed plans for defense and protection for a given
mine site significantly increases the chances of rescue of workers from the
mining disaster that occurred.
