Abstract

Titanium and titanium-based compounds are used successfully in medical practice, especially in orthopedics and dentistry. Conferring special properties, titanium is currently one of the most important materials, with more than promising results in the osseointegration processes. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest an approach to titanium osseointegration in the medical practice.
