Abstract

Conngenital or congenital anomaly is a defect in the structure of the body, which is present at the birth of the child. Developmental anomalies can affect the whole organism, organs, tissues, cells, and even the smallest molecules in the structure. Aim:To make ananalys is of the appearance of congenital anomalies in children that occur in the perinatal period, to get to know more about the types of anomalies that they encounter, what they depend on, what are the reasons for their occurrence, ways of their treatment (if there is a possibility for that), in which period of pregnancy may occur, and it was also discussed about the importance of the controls that are performed during pregnancy. Materials and methods: it is a clinically prospective (interspecific) study. An epidemiological method, a descriptive method and a health statistical method of work were used as a method for its elaboration. Data on the number of children with congenital anomalies were taken from the Clinical Hospital - Stip, in the period from 01.01.2012. until 31.12.2016 The research involved 127 children born with congenital anomalies for which there is relevant medical documentation, originating from the eastern region of theRepublic of Macedonia. Macedonia. Results and discussion:In 2012 there are 24 patients with congenital anomalies, in 2013 20 patients, in 2014 21 patients and in 2015 41 patients, in 2016 there are 21 patients, or a total of 127 patients in all five years. Conclusion:Early detection of anomalies is the most important factor for further timely treatment of these, as well as the prognosis and consequences that may arise in their later detection. Most commonly, it is congenital heart defects, limbanomalies, urinary system genital organs and end of the centralnervoussystem.
