Abstract

In this paper we will present the book: Interpretational Problems of Selected Keyboard Works by J.S. Bach (2013.) [Interpretaciski problemi na izbrani dela za klavišni instrumenti od J.S.Bah], by the Macedonian pianist and piano pedagogue Milica Skaric. This book is valuable for piano teachers, because it shows many examples of Bach’s original articulation, ornaments, dynamic, tempo and fingering, with emphasis on Bach’s keyboard music. Many of the given examples could be used on places where Bach didn’t wrote any sign of articulation, ornaments, dynamic and tempo. Especially is valuable the detailed interpretational analysis of chosen keyboard works from Anna Magdalena’s and Wilhelm Friedemann’s Bach Notebooks, little Preludes, Inventions and Sinfonias. Key words: articulation, ornaments, dynamics, tempo.
