Abstract

Seismomagnetism is a relatively new science with a wide field for new researches. Most of geomagnetic observatories, according to the procedures for their work, are adapted to measure geomagnetic field and its changes mostly by external influences or changes in the normal field of the Earth.
The doctoral thesis presents the analysis of several earthquakes occurred worldwide. Also shown are earthquakes occurring in the territory of Greece that reflect similar tectonic structure with Macedonia. From the numerous analyzed earthquakes, here are shown only three that occurred in the Republic of Macedonia. The data for the presented earthquakes in Macedonia and Greece are registered in the Seismological Observatory in Skopje and on the geomagnetic station on Plackovica and in Skopje.
Analysis of geomagnetic data was made in time domain, and the conversion is done with the software TSoft.
Key words: seismicity, geomagnetic field, correlation, analyses, time domain
