Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the optimal operating parameters of the
excavator bucket wheel in different working conditions viewed from geomechanical
characteristics of explored material, hydro-geological characteristics of the material and
technological capabilities for the work of the excavator. In the open pit "Brod -
Gneotino" discovery of coal layers is performed by two waste ETD (Excavator –
Transporter – Disposal) - system so that both systems exploitation is carried out by one
excavator SRs - 2000. It will show the possible technological schemes of work of the
excavator bucket wheel SRs - 2000 which will be obtained the optimal parameters for
the operation of the excavator in certain conditions.
