Abstract
The “2004 Survey for reporting on national sustainable development strategies” is prepared to give a basic information about the status of preparation the National Sustainable Development Strategy (NSDS) in the Republic of Macedonia.
According to the Government Decision (December 2002), the Government of Republic of
Macedonia obliged the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, to start the preparatory
activities for developing NSDS of the Republic of Macedonia.
The Government of the Republic of Macedonia, on its 78th Session, held on March 29, 2004,
designated the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning to be a coordinator of the
activities related to developing a National Sustainable Development Strategy.
