Abstract

Every science has its basic concepts, it debates about them and builds its knowledge on their basis. With them, the science explains the essence of the phenomenon it examines ( its main subject) and with them, it exposes the research. Such basic concepts in Ethics are the terms of Good and Evil. Everything revolves around them in Ethics, they give a sense of morality and through them all intentions and actions of people are conduceted and measured.
It is difficult to find an accurate determination of what is good and what this term contains and what is evil and what it contains. These are basic concepts, for which we can not use other terms that are derived from them, because by doing so, they would become main terms, and these would have lost their authenticity. This duality and diversity of basic categories is special feature of morality and ethics, which express contrary of moral commitments in terms of inadequaty and exclusiveness.
It is important in the beginning to clarify what is good and what is evil. To address this issue should start from an ethical criterion out of us or our personal experience in terms of what we mean by good and evil. For me as a Christian, as a person who believes in God, the answer to the question is in the personallity of God, in His discovery of the truth and in my own spiritual experience and in that truth. And that truth reveals something that confuses the modern man (a man without roots and spiritual insight), reveals that evil exists, it has no ontology, that God had created. There is (it has existense) only what is created by God as the spiritual and the material world and everything created by God is good. We have testimony for that in written disclosure of God in Holly Bible. There it is written: And God saw that His creation is well created (1.Moj. 1.31). If this is so (and it is) in the world of order blessed by God, then where did the evil come from (in our world)? Revelation gives us that answer.
