Abstract

The upright posture of the man is a condition for continuous maintaining of the balance between the paravertebral musculature and the centripetal force. For this upright posture to be maintained physiologic curves observed in sagittal plane are developed during the evolution: lordosis in jugular and lumbar part of the spinal column and kyphosis in the thoracic part of the spinal column. The spinal column observed in the frontal plane should be a flat vertical line. These curves in physiological limit are normal while their increase or decrease is considered pathological.
In the specialist’s study is pointed out the great significance of the kinesiotherapy for scoliosis in the prevention and treatment of this dysfunction of the locomotive system of the young people in the growth.
The kinesiotherapy program for the patients with scoliosis made in the spas and in the centers for physiotherapy in the Republic of Macedonia, not only should be entirely suitable with the literature for the subject kinesiotherapy, complete individual approach to the patient, good results in the treatment and prevention of scoliosis, it should have full supervision of the rehabilitation team.
