Abstract

Concept of state preschools are based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of
institutional preschool education systems in countries abroad, and it should form the
basis for state preschool education for every country that wants to go forward.
Tuition and education are included in the most complex and in the most responsible
actions. The results which are realized depends on many external and internal
factors, but one of the most important it is preschool teacher.
Preschool teacher is a professional, person qualified for education of children, an
expert who “organizes educational process and their own general education,
knowledge of pedagogical, didactic, and its psychological basis, in joint work with
children, achieves goals and objectives of bringing.” Educating the preschool
teachers is one of the important conditions for work in preschool institutions. The
need for continuing professional development imposed social and pedagogical goals
of reform, adoption of new programs, the need for renewal of knowledge, innovation,
communicative and information technology and dynamic development of society.
The process of professional development enabled overcoming resistance to change,
make an effort to be ahead of the stereotype, to understand a new idea and to seek
answers to important questions of development and learning of preschool children in
these institutions. Professional development is a process in which the preschool
teacher has help in building their knowledge and skills; the process in which should
be provided autonomy, participation and reputation while working with mentor,
colleagues or alone. The preschool teacher professional development require
opportunities to achieve knowledge and skills through training, research, selfimprovement,
study, (self)evaluation.
