Abstract

This thesis was originally described to the increased amounts of waste in our country and the world with today's technological development where the chemical composition of waste is complex, so that more waste endangers human health and the environment. We described the classification of wastes according to the type of waste and place of creation. I give a brief review and votes of the current state of management of wastes in the Republic Macedonia.
What I will emphasize the most shall be: the mining waste, the types of mining waste, the possibility of mining waste reclamation, the mining waste and the landfill
site, the system of transport and evacuation of the refuge and waterout of the hydro
dump, the influence of flotation tailing dumps on the air, the land and the environment.
We have Described all kinds of waste, with particular emphasis on the landfill Drisla. Given a description of the perspectives in the management of waste, recycling, composition, energy utilization and others. Complete medical waste is
processed, its collection, storage, transport, storage and destruction.
In Detail is described the hazardous waste, its collection, chemical-biological
treatment, the rules for hazardous waste management and others.
Also the appearance of surface and groundwater is mentioned, the method of
drainage from the landfill through a drainage ditch, an open concrete channel, and
with the pipeline facility. I provide measures for waste management, measures to
protect water, measures to protect air, measures for protection against noise and so
on. Given the importance of the landfill Drisla for the city Skopje and its
municipalities and the Republic of Macedonia in its analysis to include the knowledge
acquired during the preparation of numerous domestic and international projects,
taking into account all environmental impacts that can arise in the implementation of
the planned technical solutions for processing and disposal of municipal, hazardous
waste and medical waste. The positive impact of addressing the problem by
accepting, drainage and treatment of all waters of the landfill Drisla will have longterm
effect, and also deposits proper treatment of hazardous and medical waste and the perspectives for processing of the collected waste will significantly improve the
situation in the human health and the environment in general.
