Given the enormously high technological development and globalization, the profession teacher is becoming more complicated. It is no longer associated only with competence for learning and teaching to those who entrusted the society, but also with competences for active participation in the processes of school development. Our analysis of numerous empirical and theoretical studies point to the conclusion thatthe leadership role of the teacher is important for the democratization of the school climate, support and encourage students to attain higher school results, motivate teachers of cooperation and partnership and supports the process of lifelong learning.
