Abstract
For purpose of obtaining a stable final slope in open pit mines practice, the most common approach is the contour blasting method and investigation of possible applications of various primary blasting methods for purpose of gaining the optimal techno-economical effects.
This paper presents one of the contour blasting methods, drilling and blasting parameters, construction of explosive charges and method of initiation.
