Abstract

Even though it may seem futuristic, but the Internet of Things (IoT) has become a reality. The Internet of Things is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and the connectivity which enables these
objects to connect and exchange data. Connecting things changes everything. It is, therefore, important for hotels to make the most of it, yet many people still struggle to fully understand what it is, and how it can help. This technology is changing the way products and services deliver
value, and it also has the potential to redefine the guest experience by solving real-time guest queries and rendering hyper-personalized recommendations.
