Abstract

• Adenocarcinoma is the most common
colorectal cancer.
• Symptoms that may appear are: abdominal
pain, rectal bleeding, diarrhea, constipation,
iron deficiency anemia, decreased appetite,
weight loss, extreme fatigue, etc.
• Herbal treatment and herbal formulas as part
of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
are very often used as a treatment in variety
of malignancies.
• The herbs that are used in the treatment
have anticancer activities and can induce the
apoptosis of cancer cells.
