Abstract

Different categories of rocket motors with particular emphasis on solid rocket motor and its components were presented in this paper. Also, different types of solid propellant compositions and three types of burning were presented. The main subject in this paper is the determination of the total impulse of the solid rocket motor by using two mathematical methods. For that purpose, an experiment has been conducted where thrust over time of the solid rocket motor was measured. Six mathematical models
were determined by non-linear regression methods for the purpose of first mathematical method. Both mathematical methods show very similar results.
