Abstract

The subject of this paper’s study and research is the importance and the nature of the well-known trademark types and the relevant public’s impact as a key factor in case of trademark rights’ infringement.
Initially, an overview of the meaning and role of well-known trademarks is provided, such as industrial property rights. Special attention is paid to the types of well-known trademarks, as well as the entities, i.e. persons, who may appear as holders of those rights. Furthermore, the authors introduce a comparative analysis of the familiarity establishment methods in various countries, explaining in detail part of the methods used for familiarity establishment in law abusethrough practical examples (expertise).
Namely, the purpose of this paper is to distinguish the legal protecti on treatment, as well as to provide an in-depth analysis of the moral authorizations that the holder possesses, specifically the well-known trademarks, as well as the possibilities for achieving the economic values there of.
