Abstract

In Macedonia the teaching subject music education is part of the nine-year elementary general education. From I to V grade music education is realized by the class teacher, while from VI to IX grade this is done by the subject teacher. Regardless of the fact whether it is a class or subject teacher, the implementation of teaching music should be done from the same perspective and in the same direction. This paper includes observations related to the modern teacher and his/her role in teaching music education within the curriculum.
