Abstract

Ergonomics is an interdisciplinary science that studies problems of adapting work to humans in order to increase productivity, occupational safety and ease of operation. Ergonomics has great importance in proper design of equipment and actions that people use as well as design of working and living environment. It aims to change the equipment that people use and the environment in which they used as they would be better aligned witch capabilities, limitations and needs of the people through the application of information about: human abilities and limitations, characteristics, behavior and motivation.This paper provides an overview of ergonomic methods and techniques that enable a structured approach to the analysis and evaluation of problems associated with ergonomics design of workplace conditions and working methods.
