Abstract

Impacts in spatial and structural system of shaping the house on the territory of Macedonia in the 19th century, the Ottoman concept of construction were expressed by certain similarities which, directly or indirectly, were applied to satisfy a need. The similarities were expressed in the formation of spatial system, construction system, decorative processing, the structure of arranging the interior, choosing the materials for construction, external processing etc.
According to certain similarities of using the Muslim concept of a residential building, we can see the impact on the typology of the model space of the house in Macedonia.
