Abstract

The work of the banks is based on a few notable features, among which are the following: deposit and lending function, financial mediation, carriers in the payment operations, participation in monetary policy and mediation with additional services. Most actual function is lending, which refers to lending to citizens and legal entities. In fact, lending is accepted as the most practical way of investment or to cover expenses at a time when it is most needed for the client. The global economic crisis has especially hit the budgets of individuals, because it raised the demand for loans on the one hand, but on the other hand have changed the conditions for obtaining loans, primarily due to a massive outbreak of the credit risk, ie the inability of borrowers to repay loans within the agreed time period.
