Abstract

Aims:

-Multimodal and multidisciplinary approach in diagnose and treatment of patients with chronic complex tinnitus.
-Investigating the effects of rTMS on Tinnitus intensity and the different neuroimaging methods.

Rationale :

In R.Macedonia, there is no multidisciplinary approach in diagnostic and treatment of Tinnitus with implementation of neuroimaging technics or Cognitive Behavioral therapy.
- Last years, my research focus was mainly on depression and dysfunctional cognition. Review of newest literature show me that depression and dysfunctional cognition are very common among patients with chronic complex tinnitus. Literature review show me as well, that implementation of neuroimaging techniques in the diagnostic of Tinnitus and rTMS as a Treatment option among such patients is a real challenge and one of the best option in clinical practice. I will initiate a new area of research at my faculty, and will offer to my doctoral students possibilities to learn about multimodal and multidisciplinary approach in diagnose and treatment of patients with chronic complex tinnitus. Also, will offer research study, which have in focus Tinnitus and mental disorders associate within.
