Abstract

The goal of the second component is to strengthen and advance the teachers profession in preschool, primary and secondary education in the R. of Macedonia. The process will include a thorough analysis of educational offers and documentation, capacities for training of educators and teachers, as well as interviews with project stakeholders.
The fields of research will also include the contemporary trends of the teachers’ profession in Europe and globally, structural changes in the higher education

institutions, revisions of study programs, the capacities of the higher education institutions, etc.
The meeting was hosted by the Minister for education and science, Mr. Abdilaqim Ademi and attended by the members of the working group Mr. Safet Neziri – Adviser to the Minister for education and science, Mr. Jove Talevski, Ph.D. – Dean of the Teacher Training Faculty in Bitola, Mr. Fadbi Osmani, Ph.D.- Dean of the State University of Tetovo, Mr. Vlado Timovski, Ph.D. – Dean of the Teacher Training Faculty in Skopje, Ms. Tatjana Koteva-Mojsovska, Ph.D. – Vice Dean at the Teacher Training Faculty in Skopje, Mr. Zoran Velkovski, Ph.D. – Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, Faculty of Philosophy, Mr. Sasho Stojkovski – NDC Skopje Executive Director, Mr. Veton Zekolli – NDC Skopje Project Manager, Mr. Deјan Iliev, Ph.D. – Professor at the Teacher Training Faculty in Bitola, Ms. Elena Rizova, Ph.D. – Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy, Mr. Kiril Barbareev, Ph.D. – Faculty of Educational Sciences in Stip and Ms. Ymrane Reka, MoES designated coordinative assistant
